Jetpack is a fantastic wordpress plugin that lets you add social media widgets, lets readers subscribe to your blog, shows your website stats and SO much more. Here is a quick tutorial on linking Jetpack to your wordpress blog.
Install the Jetpack Plugin
Most wordpress installs autmatically come with jetpack pre-installed, but some don’t, if you don’t see Jetpack under your dashboard it’s either not activated or not installed, so if you do not have it, you will need to search for it in your plugin area, install and activate it.
In your wordpress admin area, right underneath “Dashboard”, you will see “Jetpack”, click on that, then hit the button that says “set up jetpack”.
Log into your wordpress.com account then select the “Approve” button. If you don’t have an account you will need to create a free one.
Skip all the next steps until you reach the plans page and at the bottom, click “Start with free”.
Next, go back to your wordpress dashboard, go to jetpack > dashboard, and hit the activate recommended features button.
Once you have activated the recommended features, that means you have jetpack set up! If you are using one of our themes, we recommend going to Jetpack > Settings then select the sharing tab and unchecking the following options as you already have share buttons with your theme (be sure to hit save) –
